Charity Appeal from a Junior Member
Here’s a message from member, Stephen Palmer, about his son Jack who is one of our junior members………….
“Young Jack, 15, is doing a sponsored bike ride next Saturday Sept 7th, at Whinlatter near Keswick.
He is raising money for the ‘Support our Soldiers’ charity see www.supportoursoldiers.org.uk and has set himself the challenge of 50km around Whinlatter in the day. That is the same distance as riding from Workington to Carlisle, except on a rocky footpath up a mountain side.
