Crail on November 3rd.
The sole SOSCC crew out on this event were Micky Hunter and James McWhir in their luminous Lada Samara.

Micky tells me this was primarily a test day prior to an assault on the 2013 Scottish Tarmac Championship but they were still quite happy to finish 30th overall and 6th in class 3, despite very slippery stages in the morning keeping them on their toes.
Micky was trying new brakes on the car and they worked well. However in stage 4 they bent a steering arm, which was a relatively easy fix but on stage 5 an injector failed so they were down to three cylinders. Of the eighty starters, 50 finshed the event so 30th wasn’t a result to be sniffed at.
