SoSCC members Scottish Rally Results
Well done to David Bogie / Kevin Rae in the Oakbank Services sponsored R5 Skoda Fabia , who won his local event, The Scottish Rally round of the British Rally Championship, going into the last stage 0.1 up on CA1 team mate Fredrik Ahlin who crashed out on the last stage to give David Bogie the win he deserved.
Moving onto SoSCC members on the Scottish Rally SRC round
car No 20
Greg McKnight /Laura Marshall in the Scottish Gritting Sponsored Mitsubishi Evo 9 , who were going well and lying 2nd O/A going into Ss6 Ae1 when they hit a rock and punctured a tyre and damaged bodywork and wiring to put them out the rally.
Car No 59
John McIlwraith/Heather Grisedale in their Subaru Impreza who finished 13th O/A and a great result.
Car No 61
Jim Robertson /Mike Curry in their Penpont Garage , John Sharpe , Joiners Sponsored Citroen C2R2 of which I have no problems to report and finished a great 21st O/A and his best result to date.
Car No 65
Charlie Blair / Mark Roberts in their AMD Sponsored Citroen C2 VTS , who were making a welcome comeback after 2 years away from motorsports and finished a good 26 th O/A.
Car 74
Niall Cowan Jnr / Thomas Bruce in their R Earsman sponsored Mgzr who were going very well and lying well in their class before suffering gearbox problem on Ss6 Ae 1.
