Autotest Spectator Trip
Following on from a very successful spectator trip to the third round of the 2012 Northern Ireland Autotest Championship. Gordon Clendinning is hoping to run a second trip on either the 4th August or the 8th September.
The 8th of September would be the preferred date as this is the final round of the championship for 2012 and the venue is excellent, however this will depend on which date is most suitable to those available to travel.
The first trip enabled car club members to observe the organisation, marshalling, timekeeping, car preparation and level of competition at a major event. This will be an opportunity not to be missed, details are still to be finalised but we plan to take at least one minibus over with Stenaline travelling from the new port at Cairnryan on the Saturday morning, attend the autotest and return on the Saturday evening sailing. The cost will be no more than £30 per person providing we can book this in the near future.
Priority will be given to those who previously booked and paid for the first trip but were unavailable to travel due to a late date change. Thereafter bookings for the trip will then be on a first come first served basis.
