Colin Marshall. RIP.

Sad news to relate to you, as one of our former club directors and a good servant to the club in his time, left us today Monday 16th, having suffered a sudden illness on Thursday that struck him down.

Despite his many illnesses that progressively dogged him more and more in recent years, Colin still managed to retain a sense of humour and was always keen to have a laugh. Sadly we will see him no more.

Our condolences must go to his wife Elaine and his two wee girls who will miss him terribly. A card will be sent from the club and for those who wish to attend,  the funeral will take place at Jardines Chapel of Rest, Terregles Street, Dumfries at 10.30am on Friday 27th. Please join us to show our collective support for a fellow club member and his family.

To me, Colin was always a loyal friend from the first time we met at a Guid Nychburris committee meeting.

He was also one of the good guys.

RIP ‘cockey’.

Here we are in happier times, overdoing the period costume theme on the ‘Rally of the Tests’. Colin was proud of his stripes and I was just ‘Pike’.
