Flying Scotsman.
SOSCC had the privilege of marshalling the special test on this event yesterday (Sunday) at Drumlanrig, with around 90 survivors of the 106 starters from London making it this far. With only Kames Circuit and the Forestburn Hillclimb to tackle before reaching the finish at Gleneagles, some of these crazy people in their predominantly open topped pre 1941 giants were still throwing them around a bit on the greasy surface of the test. It’s always a pleasure to officiate on events like this because they are so far removed from what we are used to.
