New Autotest Championships.
For any of you who havent already noticed, two new SOSCC autotest championships are about to kick off in 2013. (See the ‘Events Calendar’ page).
The first, round one of which is next Sunday February 24th, is the ‘Maximum Attack Tarmac Autotest Championship’, sponsored by Gordon Clendinning. This will, as the name suggests, concentrate solely on tarmac autotests and at the end of the year, an overall tarmac autotest champion will be crowned, with class awards also up for grabs.
Grass autotests wont be left out as, on exactly the same basis as above, the ‘G23 Grafix Grass Autotest Championship’, sponsored by Paul Whyte, will recognise only the best performances in grass/gravel autotesting throughout the year.
So there you have it. Two shiny new trophies and several awards never previously presented, on top of the already groaning list of awards to be handed over at the Cairndale Hotel, Dumfries, on February 1st 2014!. Tables will be published and constantly updated on the ‘Championship’ page.
