Tyneside Stages, Otterburn. August 12th
Club member Mike Curry was out on the Tyneside Stages on Sunday co-driving in the M3 for Andy Davison and here’s his brief report.
“The recce went well and as we know Otterburn quite well, we decided to have a big push on the first stage to set Damien Cole a target.
We were pleasantly surprised to be second overall to Melvyn Evans in his supercar after the first stage.
We were not pleasantly surprised however, when the clutch exploded on the start line of SS2, after which we put the car on the trailer and I set off back to Lockerbie.
